
Rich Garza
Our Chaplain Rich Garza attended Temple University until the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) signed him as a free agent. Rich later played for the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Stars (USFL), and the San Antonio Gunslingers (USFL). During his third year in professional football, Rich surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and during off seasons began speaking in schools, churches, and prisons around the country. Rich retired from professional football in 1986 and for the past fifteen seasons has been co-chaplain for the San Antonio Spurs (NBA). He has been married to his wife, Jan for 36 years of marriage to Jan and now has two grandkids.
